Let's be clear about who we are

We are not a hospital. We are your bridge.

Global India Medical Assistance Health does not perform surgery, and we never will — that's not our job. Our job is to get you to the right doctor, at a fair and transparent cost, with a real recovery plan in place, so your family can stop researching and start healing.

  • The right doctor. We match your case to a surgeon and hospital suited to your specific condition — not the first name that comes up in a search.
  • Money you don't have to lose. Transparent, itemised quotes before you commit — no inflated "package" pricing designed for confused foreign patients.
  • A real recovery, not just a discharge. A supervised wellness stay is built into every plan, because healing doesn't end when the stitches come out.
  • We respond fast. Every enquiry gets a same-day acknowledgement and a 24-hour first response — because when it's a family member's health, waiting is the hardest part.

What we stand for

Your Health. Our Mission.

Six beliefs sit behind every case we take on — not slogans, but the standard we hold ourselves to with every family we work with.

World-Class Treatment

We only work with hospitals and surgeons who meet the same standard we'd want for our own families — accredited facilities, high procedure volumes, and outcomes that hold up against international benchmarks. Lower cost was never meant to mean lower quality, and we won't refer you anywhere it does.

Seamless Travel

Getting a sick family member across the world for surgery is already hard enough without fighting visa paperwork and flight logistics alone. We handle the invitation letters, transfers, and itinerary so travel is one less thing you have to manage during an already stressful time.

Holistic Wellness

Recovery isn't a footnote to treatment — it's half the outcome. That's why every plan pairs your hospital care with a supervised Ayurvedic recovery stay: proper rest, guided movement, and the kind of healing environment a discharge summary can't give you on its own.

Personalized Support

One coordinator, from your first message to your flight home — not a call centre queue. We reply within 24 hours because we know that behind every enquiry is a family making one of the hardest decisions they'll face, and they deserve a real answer, fast.

Nourishing, Home-Style Food

Recovery needs the right fuel, not a hospital tray. Every meal — through your hospital stay and your recovery — is planned around what your body needs to heal, and cooked with the flavours of home, so nothing about your recovery has to feel foreign.

Never Alone

From the moment you land to the day you fly home, someone from our team is with you — not a number you call when something goes wrong. We shadow every step of your journey in India, so you never have to face it by yourself.

What we coordinate

Where you heal

Recovery, done properly

After discharge, you're transferred to one of India's leading wellness destinations — mainly Kerala, with the Himalayas as an option — for a medically supervised recovery: proper physiotherapy, Ayurvedic therapies suited to your procedure, and the kind of rest a hospital ward can't give you.

Kovalam

Somatheeram Ayurvedic Health Resort

One of Kerala's earliest Ayurveda-hospital-in-a-resort concepts, at Chowara Beach near Kovalam — long-established medical oversight alongside traditional treatment.

Palakkad

Kairali — The Ayurvedic Healing Village

Medical supervision led by a Chief Physician, with resident medical officers coordinating day-to-day care — suited to post-surgical, not just wellness, guests.

Ernakulam

Elephant Pass Ayurveda & Yoga Retreat

A doctor-led retreat near Kochi where every recovery plan begins with a formal physician consultation and ongoing supervision.

Rishikesh

Ananda in the Himalayas

A doctor-led destination spa on a former Maharaja's estate above the Ganges, offering personalised Ayurveda, chronic pain management and post-treatment wellness programmes.

Getting well, the Indian way

Recovery here isn't just physiotherapy in a clinic. It's yoga at sunrise, Ayurvedic therapies rooted in centuries of practice, quiet time in nature, and a culture built around slowing down to heal.

Questions patients ask first

General

Is Global India Medical Assistance Health a hospital?

No. Global India Medical Assistance Health is a patient facilitation service. We coordinate your treatment, travel and recovery, but every procedure is performed by licensed doctors at the treating hospital, and every therapy is administered by the recovery centre's own qualified staff.

Can a family member or attendant stay with me?

Yes. Most hospitals and recovery centres accommodate one attendant, and we arrange their stay, meals and local transport alongside yours.

What languages do you support?

Our coordinators and partner hospitals arrange interpreter support for major languages spoken by our patients from the Gulf, Africa, CIS countries, the USA and Europe. Let us know your preferred language when you first write to us.

Visa & Travel

Do I need a visa, and will you help me get one?

Most international patients travel on a Medical Visa (M-Visa), with a Medical Attendant Visa (MX-Visa) available for one companion. The invitation letter is issued by your treating hospital; we guide you through the full application and required documents.

How far in advance should I plan?

For planned procedures like joint replacement or bariatric surgery, 3–4 weeks from first enquiry to travel is typical. Cardiac cases are often expedited — send your reports as early as possible so we can advise on timing.

Payment & Pricing

How and when do I pay?

You'll receive an itemised written quote before any commitment. Hospital fees are typically paid directly to the hospital in stages; recovery-centre and coordination fees are billed separately. Nothing is charged before you've seen and approved the quote.

Do you accept international insurance or offer payment plans?

Some Partner Hospitals accept direct billing with select international insurers or offer staged payment plans for larger procedures. We confirm exactly what's available for your chosen hospital and procedure when we send your written quote, so you can plan with clear numbers before committing.
